New Saddlebags from Tow Pac

Post by Tony Molina on Thu Dec 04, 2008 9:55 pm

Does anyone have the new saddlebags that Tow Pac is offering?

Any feedback?

Hiya Tony!

I understand that the Saddlebags that Tow-Pac is selling, are the Givi E21's. Due to the cost that Tow-Pac wanted, I purchased mine elsewhere, for less than half of what they were asking for the same identical cases.

I did contact Tow-Pac about buying the Attaching Bracket and Hardware, and they replied that they can only sell them with their cases as a set. Kinda like the "Upgraded Wheel" thing! Hmmm!

My saddlebags are enroute, and scheduled for a Monday Dec 8th Delivery. If you'd like, I can take some pics for you. I'm having my Tow-Pac installed next week, then painted the following week, including the bags.

I'm pretty handy with tools, so I'm going to make some brackets for my cases and install them.

GREAT Forum & THANKS!

Cheers!

BB

I would LOVE some pictures; send pics of the brackets that you land up using too. I had hope that they would go with a paintable bag..oh well. The brackets can't be too hard. I haven't seen them yet...my cost isn't too much cheaper than retail--so I am holding out. Good luck...and I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I didn't like the high cost of the E21 bags from Tow-Pac either and ended up buying and installing Givi E41 bags onto my scoot. They just barely fit on the sides and slightly touch the inside of the fenders but worth it since I've got lots of storage now. No pics yet as it's been raining and dark outside since getting them on...they'll come.
