Post by dehartracing on Mon Dec 22, 2008 5:04 pm

Shocked cheers
I am currently working on converting a minitrike to fit 1985 Goldwing. Watch for pics. The inital layout looks great. Nice and tight.

One thing to keep in mind is that the mini trike kits use the 250lb axles and the kits for the Goldwings will use the 500lb axles. The axles are "Reliable" axles which I think you can buy at Northern Tool for $35--now if you are using a 12" kit...then it will be a bit different as the axles are modified...good luck! Let me know how it is going!

Take care,

Tony

conversion

I have the 12'' wheels. I havealso set the bike upwith the mass majority of the weight is on the bike. Bascicly using the kit to help balance when stopped. Will be using mini shocks so bike will still lean a little at speed.

So it will actually be like a set of "training wheels" on a bicycle. Interesting. Good luck! and please keep me posted on how it comes out!

merry Christmas,

Tony
