Missing or sheared bolts.

From time to time I get comments about bolts that shear off or are simply gone. My advice is to check the tightness of the bolts OFTEN. If bolts are loosening on a regular basis you can put 'Lock-Tite' on them.

A loose bolt will allow the kit to move back and forth putting a great deal of stress on the bolts--causing them to shear. Basic maintainence will go a long way.

Left tire wear

I've aligned and adjusted according to tow-pac instructions and still I am wearing out my left tire after 600 miles. Gone through 4 tires in 2,200 miles plus or minus. No problems at all with right tire.
I don't know what to do next except to take off bike and sell. Goldwing GL1800 bike.
