Hello all. A local club has been considering purchasing a Tow-Pac kit to put on a 98 Ultra Classic for a member that was recently diagnosed with the early stages of MS. Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what the specs are for the torsion axles? I was wondering what the pound rating for them was. For example: 425#, 550# etc.

Thanks for any info.

I am looking to convert my 2006 HD FLHX Streetglide to a trike. This kit looks like a very good system rather than making my Bike a trike for life. Are there any things I should be aware of in riding one of these conversions?? I have never ridden a trike. Do they shimmy? Are they stable in turns?? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
We just got our Silverwing Tow-Pac kit installed and we love it! The one thing it needs however is tail lights. Anyone got any ideas? I'm searching the net for ideas and so far nothing looks quite right. We are thinking maybe something with LED's in a "tombstone" style housing.

Had the Smrfmobile in the dealership on Saturday and they noticed that the bolts at the top of my shocks were very loose. These are the bolts that the rear brackets attach to for the Tow-Pac kit. It was observed that the factory bolts were used but lacked length due to adding the kit and that no lock-tite or other additional fasteners were used. I AM very disappointed that the kit didn't come with longer replacement bolts and that my installer didn't take the initiative to change the bolts or ...

The weatherman promised a good day for riding.... We all got up early only to face some pretty dense fog. Anyway we decided to take the weather report for fact and set out on our little journey. Elaine took the lead on her VLX/Tow Pac with Pam and I taking up the rear on my GoldWing. Soon the fog lifted and we were rewarded with a fine day for riding. Our path took us down English Crossing Road where we had to wait for a herd of axis deer to cross. Then on through Bandera and Tarpley to Utopia. ...
